Sandman might mean a sleepy person
Solomon was an old king in the Bible
DeVille might mean "devil"

I know of one. It was my great-great-great something's last name. Joubert. Fifth from the 2nd top. (It's prounounced: Go-Bert) When my family moved here to America it was changed to Gobert. Pronounced the same but spelled differently.
