can anybody tell me what and where does the word Gullis comes from?

I disagree with "gullible" ...more likely it's a variant of Gillis or Gillies or a number of names that come from the Gaelic 'Giolla' which means "servant of ..." and in the case where there is an 'is' following it, means 'Íosa' which is a derivative of the Greek name for Jesus ...hence ..."servant of Jesus"

Gullible maybe? sounds like.. Gull... something related to the mouth or nearby inner zone. search some latin or greek I would say.
