Re: Meaning for "Kobayashi"
in reply to a message by Chris
Well, Japanese can be quite bothersome when it comes to kanji (ideograms). I searched about it on google, looking for some examples to read from and confirmed my theories: "Ko" means "small" and "bayashi" is a derivated form of "hayashi", meaning "forest" (the "2 trees" kanji).
If there are any other kanji variations for the name Kobayashi, I don´t know... heck, there probably are.
Good Luck!
