origin & meaning of Ehahsunthornwatana
I'd like to know the origin & meaning of Ehahsunthornwatana. People in India & Thailand can have extremely long surnames. It is possible that the name might be of that origin. Greek surnames can also be extremely long. poulos is a common ending for surnames of Greek origin. My surname doesn't have that ending. I seem to think the name might be of African origin. I don't know where my ancestors came from, because I don't have any information about them. I tried to find the origin & meaning of Ehahsunthornwatana on the internet through www.google.com, but I wasn't able to find anything. Ehahsunthornwatana is eighteen letters long, because I counted the letters in the name one day. Can you please tell me the origin & meaning of the name Ehahsunthornwatana ?

It must be a Vietnamese name. Run a search for xuan-trong and I think the number of Vietnamese names that comes up will surprise you... Perhaps Xun-Trong also exists. Anyway there can be little doubt that the 'hs' near the start of your name is an alternative transcription to 'x' of a Chinese sound. The Author Lu Xun for example is also known as Lu Hsun. Watana is a known first name, in various countries, and this is always placed at the end in Vietnamese names. The first part 'Eha' I can not explain.
