Subject: The origin of the surname Terzis

Hey there.
I'm looking for the origin of my surname, Terzis.
My grandfather was born right next to the border of FYRO Macedonia in Greece and my grandmother in Macedonia, Greece.
I would very much like to know what it means if it means anything and if possible where the name comes from (Greek, Italian or Turkish origin?)
I know there is are two simmilar Italian names; "Terzi" and "de Terzi" and a simmilar Turkish name also "Terzi" that means tailor in Turkish.

As far as my father knows he is of 100 % Greek descent although his blonde hair and blue eyes sometimes made me doubt it :P. I don't have any contact with my relatives in Greece, I've never seen them, don't know who they are or where they live.

I'll be extremely gratefull for ANY information. I'd very much like to know my roots! :)

//John
