I can't belive it is a Russian surname. "Michalka" doesn't mean anything in Russian (Mochalka means spong, broom is "Metla" or "metelka").

Most or R. surnames end in -ov/-ova, -ev/-eva, -yh, -in/-ina, -iy/-aya or -ovich,-chenko in case the bearer is originally from Ukraine.
