Subject: ??origin of the surname "Markesinis"
Author: Vasilios Markesinis   (guest, 211.29.136.12)

Iam looking for the origin of my surname.."Markesinis". We are Greek by at least a few generations, but the name itself does not sound all that Greek. Could it possibly have a Latin origin?..anyway if anyone has any information, please contact myself on the above E-mail address..PS.. Markesinis is spelt in Greek by substituting the English letters for corresponding Greek sounding letters pronounced = Mar-ke-si-nis
thank you.....
