I don't think so.
Tomás De Bhaldraithe's English-Irish Dictionary gives gnáthdhuine as the Irish equivalent of the expression "man in the street". If you wanted to invent a name based on that you wouldn't be the first inventor of a spurious surname in the Irish tongue, believe me.
