It looks Spanish but doesn't seem to exist in Spain. References point to it being a Filipino name. Ocariza is also a Filipino surname, which raises the possibility that this is De Ocariza, i.e., "of Ocariza". Perhaps a place name, though I haven't been able to find one.

You're right. It does seem to be a Spanish name as Philippines was once colonized by Spaniards.
But I am quite after its etymology, I do hope that it has a good meaning. Anyhow, thanks for the reply.
