BIANCA is an Italian surname. It is a variant of BIANCHI pr BIANCO that is white. This surname has come from a nickname due to namely to physical characteristics such as the colour of skin.
In Italy sunames started officially in XVIth or XVIIth century.
And they settled permanently in XIXth century.

Italy has a large number of surnames deeply influenced by local dialects and way of life
