Subject: Renault from Reynaud?
Author: Andy ;—)   (guest, 87.177.90.75)

It just came to my mind, that name of the French car manufacturer RENAULT could be identical with REYNAUD, the French form of REYNOLD. Can anybody confirm this?
P.H.REANY lists a number of variations of REYNOLD, but Renault is not among them.
