my family is pretty much deceised me and my twin are trying to find out the origin and the history of the name. if anyone could help my brother and i would be very thankful

I can't find these spellings in my reference books, but it seems likely that this is an Americanized spelling of Zieriacks, a German surname that comes from the given named Cyriacus. St. Cyriacus was the name of a child martyr in Tarsus around 304 AD.
