I only found Cifuentes.
This is the name of some places in Spain.
One Cifuentes exists near Guadalajara(Spain)
I couldn't find the place you mention at all in Internet.
If that surname exists it comes perhaps from an occasional
wrong spelling of Cifuentes, never corrected.
Cufuentes comes from a spanish word "fonte" that means "spring".
