Re: Versallion

What a rare English surname... Versallion. Sounds close to Maximilian. I think this rare surname Versallion is an English form of a French surname. I think Verceles, also as Vercelles, and a much more common surname Versailles. There is a place called Versailles in France. The meaning of this surname Versailles can be found here in Wikipedia here: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Versailles_%28commune%29) under the Name section.Ultimately, the name Versallion/Versailles is of Latin origin. Same as Maximilian.
