Re: caste related to makawana
I found a similar name "Makwana". Perhaps the name Makawana is related to Makwana or spelling variant? Here is what I found about the surname Makwana from Wikipedia."Jhala is the name of a clan of Rajputs belonging to the Suryavanshi lineage, found mainly in the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan in India. They are also known as Makwana."Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MakwanaPerhaps this helped you? I'm no expert on Indian surnames.

There are many castes in Makwana. Some Makwana are rajput (general), and some are darji (obc), and some are sc and st. And some are sunni muslims.Actually, sunni muslims (Makwana) and sc(Makwana) are converted to this caste in ancient times.sc(Makwana) are originally belong to rajput community, but due to some reason in past at wankaner, they are now in sc.but today also sc(Makwana) follows the same rules of rajput (Makwana) for marriage and they worship maa shakti.❤️Jay shakti maa❤️
