Twizle/Twizlle
I was speaking to my grandmother today and she remembered her grandparents names and one of the surnames was Twizle/Twizlle. (twy-zell)I have never heard of this surname before, does anyone have any information on this?My grandmothers family are for Northumberland.

Twizel is a Northumbrian place name, a word for a fork in a river (Tw- as in two, twain, twice). You'll find references online to Twizel Bridge, Twizel Castle, etc., Nothumberland.
