Walker, Fuller and Tucker are all English surnames referring to the same occupation. Fuller has become the standard term for that occupation because it was the word used in the South-East England, but Walker is the most common of the three as a surname. It belongs to the North of England, Eastern England and Lowland Scotland. Tucker belongs to South-West England. There are some Walkers of Highland Scots origin who were once called Macanfhucadair, or Macnucader, meaning "son of the walker, or fuller".
