Hi there

I don't really want to post what my actual last name is on here, but my family has some Irish ancestory on my father's side. A cousin of mine has done a bit of looking into our family history, and apparently, my great-great-great-grandmother (I think!) was widowed when her children were young, remarried, and changed her name and her childrens last name to the name that I currently carry (that of her new husband). So Augood would have been my last name now, if she hadn't changed it when she remarried.

Anyway, I was just wondering if you guys could give me any information on the last name Augood? Is it actually Irish, because it doesn't really sound it to me! (But I guess that's just because I keep thinking of O'Connor, O'Malley etc). Any info would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!
