The Italian pronunciation:

Ahk-KOHN-Chee

"A" as in "Father." The following double "CC"s are hard, "K." "O" equals "Oh." With an "I" directly after "C," "C" becomes "Ch," while the "I" is stressed to "EE."

Both "CC"s must be pronounced distinctly. It is most easily accomplished by adding extra emphasis on the letter found before ("A") and slowly rolling through. [noted -ed]
