Meaning & History
Has its origins in the place-name "Pantoja" in Spain. Derived from either the Greek word "panthos" (which means 'all gods') or the Mozarabic "panucea" (meaning 'spindle of yarn').
The first known Pantoja was found in the province of Toledo, in the region of Castilla la Nueva, in central Spain.
