I prefer Adair on a girl, although I've never heard it on anyone (except as a middle name, a family surname).
I like it, but it reminds me of "a dare" or "I dare" spoken through a U.S. Southern accent. So Adair Charles, for example, sounds like "I dare Charles". *Shrugs* Maybe it's just me. However, as I do like the name despite "I dare", I'd probably be inclined to use it as a mn.
I like Sarah Kate (fn/mn) or Sara-Kate, but SaraKate just looks tacky to me.
