I know that Todd can stand alone, and I really like it as a name on it's own, but what could it possibly be a nickname for?

Todrick is a real surname, and Toddrick has been used more than once as a first name (I googled it).

I think it'd be a stretch, but it could possibly be a nickname for Theodore. And it could also be a nn for Todor, which is actually the Bulgarian form of Theodore.

I think it is a stand alone name. I can't think of any long versions. In fact, I made myself giggle with my stupid made up names.
I.E.,

Toddworth
Toddeth
Todden
Toddly
Todder
Toddiam
