Karin's my name in my German class, so I'm a little bias to it. :)My teacher (who's Finnish) pronounces it KAH-rin~ Kari

When I see Karin, I think of a girl I know who has this name. I think it's pronounced Ka-REEN, along those lines. Did you mean for Karin to be an alternate spelling for Karen?

Karin's the Swedish form of Katherine, which is nice to know since Karen does seem prone to kre8iv spellings (Caryn, Karyn, Carin, etc). I like it if it's in honour of a Swedish heritage, otherwise in English it may be less confusing to go with the more familiar Karen, the Danish form of Katherine. Here I think Karin would be pronounced like Karen: KAIR-in. How do you pronounce it?MirandaEDIT: Clarified sentence

Do you say it like "KAH-rin" or "kuh-RIN"?
I like the one that sounds like Karen better.

I prefer Karen because Karin looks like a girly form of Kiran.
It should be easy enough.-Seda*
