I adore the name Asher. If it weren't for the fact that I have a friend named Ashton, I would probably use it. I really like the combo Asher Jocelyn, and I think it goes very well with Nathanael Jude (though, as Miranda said, Nathan would probably fit more, as Nathanael is a bit long in comparison to Asher. But both are equally nice.)

I've always prefered Jocelyn as a girls names, although many don't agree with that. However I love Asher, its a favorite of mine. Nathanael Jude sounds great though!

I find Asher to be a little to trendy in my opinion but not awuful.
it goes well enough with Nathaneal. Jocelyn will always be a girl's name to me though. It's too ingrained to ever be shaken out. :P

I don't think they go together too good. They are nice names though.

I like it but I prefer Nathan over Nathanael.

I love it!I love Jocelyn on a boy, especially. It's 100% male to me, having been a reasonably popular male name in the Middle Ages (35th in 1250) and being borne by males in several French noble families. (This included the brother-in-law of Henry I of France, Jocelin of Louvain. He married Agnes de Percy, and their children took their mother's surname; thus he founded the Percy family of the Earls of Northumberland.)I prefer Nathaniel, even though I know Nathanael's more correct. Nathaniel's just more familiar to me. But, as a sib for Asher, I'd really prefer Nathan since Nathaniel seems too long to me when paired with Asher.Miranda

I like this a lot, especially with the middle name Jocelyn! I do find Asher to be a bit trendy, but I think it goes well with Nathanael.

I love Asher and have for years. As for Jocelyn....I can only see it as a girl name since one of my good childhood girl friends was Jocelyn. It't too feminine for a little boy in my opinion.

I love Asher & Jude, but Jocelyn is not mns (for either sex) and I prefer Nathaniel (even though your spelling is correct as well).

Personally, I prefer Asha to Asher for a girl (knew boys named Asher and Ashur), but I love the combo and the sibset.

I really love Asher Jocelyn. I quite like Jocelyn as a boys' name, a little more so than a girls'.
