Reasoning:
This family is a traditional Russian Jewish family, because they use some Yiddish names. Asher is Hebrew (happy or blessed), and Ronen is also Hebrew (from Ron, "song, joy"). Mehetabel ("God makes happy") and Simcha ("happiness, joy") are also both Hebrew. Gil is Hebrew, meaning joy or happiness, and his mn (Ronen) is for his father. Simcha Ron is named for both parents (Simcha, dw's mn, Ron a feminine form of Ronen). Abagail (a father's joy) and Rina (joy) are both Hebrew.
