[Opinions] Gretchen and Reese
WDYTO these two names for girls?
Would it be so terrible if I had a Margaret nn Markie/Maggie and a Gretchen?
Also, Reese is my grandmother's maiden name and I would like to honor her, even though it is originally a boys name...would that be a problem?

ya too much of a boy name (plus it makes me think of reese's peanut butter cups), if you want to honor her i suggest you use it as a middle name since then it doesn't matter so much if it sounds like a boy's name
I hate the name Gretchen, it reminds me of a stuck up evil witch

I dont like Gretchen at all. But i LOVE Reese.
Having a Margaret and a Gretchen together is a little repetitious, so I probably wouldn't do it.
As for Reese, I wouldn't use it since it is supposed to be a boy's name (unless it is strictly as a middle name and with an all-female first name, and you call her by her first name, and only if it is a family name like in your case), and even then I personally wouldn't use it since I don't want to contribute anymore to the trend of giving girls boy's names.
