[Opinions] Ciara
What do you think of this Irish name-pron. Key-are-uh-? Is that a correct pronounciation? I love the way it sounds and looks but don't know if there would be too much confusion in the way it's said.
WDYT of it?

The irish/gaelic pronounciation is Kee-ruh. In the US it´s mostly pronounced wrong as Key-air-uh or even Cee-air-uh (like Sierra).
If you like the pronounciation Key-are-uh you should probably use Chiara to avoid confusions.
I personally love the name Ciara! But because of the pronounciation and spelling confusions I would spell it Keira.

I heard it before and thought it was quite lovely. It was pronounced Key-Are-uh. I do think that it may cause some confusion on spelling and pronunciation
I like it a lot.
it is KEE ar-a.
it is KEE ar-a.
I've always heard it pron. SEE-air-uh. Perosnally I don't like the name b/c of horrible associations. I'd think Kiera would be pron. Key-are-uh or Key-air-uh. But I've also heard/seen it pron keer-uh, so who knows.

I thinks its pretty prn. Cee-are-ah...
The correct pronounciation is Keer-ah. Like Keira Knightley. Keira is just an anglicisation Ciara. The male version is Ciaran, anglicised as Kieran.
I love it too, but spelt Keira.

I don't care for it. I think of a tiara.
