I like Lina, but I prefer Alina- it sounds more complete to me. I also like Lina or Alina as a nickname for Angelina. I dont like the way Lina sounds with any names that end in -a (Monica or Maria.) I also dont like the way it sounds with Lillian because of the L at the beginning of both. I like Alina Catherine or Cathernie Alina. Valerie Alina or Alina Valerie also sound nice, but I dont like Lina with any of the names.
