I want a cat named Elsie. I think it's a beautiful name, but dh won't agree to it for a little girl.

Actually, I like several of these...
I like:
Bertie (Well, spelled Birdie, and as a nickname for Roberta)
Selma (Adore this!)
Adell (Prefer Adele, natch)
Paula
Martin
And I think that Wheeler would make a really good cat name. Elsie, I'm starting to like. Makes me think of a little girl with edelweiss woven into a crown on her head, for some reason. I probably wouldn't use it, but here's a vote in its favour for you! :)
