I like the name Rosabel very much, although I probably wouldn't consider using it because I think it's a little too frilly. Strangely enough (in light of the "too frilly" comment), I prefer the spelling Rosabelle!

I seriously doubt Rosabel (or variations like Rosabella) would become as popular as Isabel, Isabella, etc. are currently. Isabel, though not steadily popular, is a familiar classic with strong historical connections. Rosabel just doesn't have the same kind of powerful background to propel it to the top of the charts. I think it's a safe choice if you're concerned about popularity or trendiness.
