I dislike this name due to association, but I have a feeling that if I didn't know this boy named Wade that I wouldn't like the name anyway.
For middle names, I think Wade Nathan, Wade Parker, Wade Anthony, Wade Joshua and Wade Nicholas sound good.

I really like it, it's cute, and old-fashioned, but not too old sounding

I only know Wade as a last name so to me it sounds like one of those surnames being tried as a firstnames (like Addison, Parker, Jackson, etc). It's nms, sorry.

It reminds me of the word "wade", which is a bit of a weird word to my ears. Also of "Gone with the Wind" (as you probably know, Scarlett named her first son Wade after his father's commanding officer). He was a wimpy, boring child and I suppose it reminds me of that. Sorry!
