I like both names though I slightly prefer Amadeo. It's hard for me to guess which would work better. Amadeus is easily recognizeable while Amadeo may get mispronounced as something like am-uh-dee-oh. On the other hand, Amadeo may work better since it's less tightly connected with Mozart. I guess you just need to decide for yourself which, if either of these issues, is really an issue to you or not.
