I really, really like Molly. It's cute and sweet. Sometimes I suspect it might border on "cutesy" but I can never be sure.I prefer the spelling Molly. I accept Mollie but I don't like it as much.

I think I prefer Molly although Mollie is nice also.

Mollie is more interesting as it's a bit more unusual. I'd use it as a nickname for a Mary name though (not Mary itself, which I find too dull). Maybe Myriam nn Mollie, or Mariana nn Mollie.

My sisters name is Molle, although she says that she would like to have had it spelled Mollee. I think its a great name.

Molly.Though I don't really like it. It actually sounds too young to my ears.Siri

I love Molly!I don't think it's too 'young' for an adult, my great auntie is called Molly. I can see it on all ages.Prefer Molly to Mollie though as Mollie does look a bit 'young'.Louise x

I normally prefer -ie endings, but in this case I'm accustomed to the name Molly on a woman and the word "mollie" on a fish. So I vote for Molly. It's nice and a bit tidier looking. - chazda

I like the spelling Molly & the name itself, however just like Maggie (which I love) I worry that its too girly & cutesy for an adult, but my husband believes (and I'm starting to agree) that there is nothing wrong with that and so names like Molly, Maggie, Lily, and Audrey are gaining in my books. In fact, they make up much of my top 10.

I don't care for it. Reason being: I know a dog named Molly. Anyway, I prefer the spelling Molly. Mollie just looks like you're trying to be different.
