[Opinions] Bess
Let me start by saying I only like Bess as a nn. So my question is what do you think of Elisabeth nn Bess? Out of all the Elizabeth / Elisabeth nickname's, Bess is one of the rarely used.I've been liking it a lot lately. I don't know if it's because of it's simplicity to Tess or not. Do you think it might just be too old fashioned to fit in today?
Much appreciated,Jamie

I think it could work.I prefer Betsey as a nn.

It reminds me of a cow's name, like Bessie. I have a friend named Elizabeth and her nn Is Betsy. I guess that sounds like a cow's name too, but I like it better than Bess. It's mostly because my name is Jessica and some people call me Jess and it annoys me.

Love it nice to heard something a little more unique without being kr8tiv. It good to know your not going to use it alone cos I think its much better to have a longer name, I think Elisabeth is great too, with so many sweet nn's I also love the nn Betsy which is uncommon & Ella or Ellie though they seem far to comon at the moment. Tess is also nice although I'm not quite such a fan.

I'm not too fond of Bess as a nickname, and I don't see it coming from Elizabeth (the spelling I prefer), but I do like the name Elizabeth.I like Teresa, with Tess as a nickname.

I love the nn Bess, and this spelling of Elisabeth. It is old-fashioned, but in a sweet way, rather than a dated way.

I like Bess a lot. It's one of those names I never remember I love until I hear it. Bess. It's sweet and fun to say, and a perfect nn for Elisabeth.
