Well, I don't have a problem with nicknames. It does bother me when parents plan the nickname(s), or says their child won't have a nickname. I think nicknames should be left up to the child.

The Branden and Brandon I know go by their full names. With the two Dominic's (but I prefer the spelling Dominick) I know, one goes by his full name, and the other goes by Dom.
