[Opinions] Alison, Allison, or Allyson
My friend is expecting in a month. She already has Anna Marie and she doesn't know what she is having. She wants to name a girl after her Aunt Alice. Which spelling for Allison should she use and what are the nick names and their spellings? If it is a boy she likes Ryan Christopher. What do you think?

I like Alison the best. It just looks the nicest and the most simple to me. As a nn I think Ali (pron. Ally) is about the best. Ryan Christopher is quite a nice combo.

I think the name Allison, with that spelling. It looks more complete than Alison, and Allyson looks too creative. I like Ryan Christopher, but I think Christopher Ryan flows a bit better.

Alison or Allison ;)

Alyson is my favourite spelling, but I dislike the name. Although it isn't a surname-cum-firstname, it does sound like one and it's a little dated. I far prefer Alyce.
