[Surname] German (?) surname ALLAMODA
I'm not sure, but going by the google hits, Allamoda should be a German surname. Any ideas about its origin and meaning?

It is extremely rare: only 7 persons on the German directory:
It looks like the spanish surname Alameda and the British Alamode.
In Italy a surname like this doesn't exist, but it really looks italian too!

I think it is an Italian name, but a made-up one...
meaning: modern. Looking for time it was "invented"
or how far back it can be traced and to which city in Italy.
