I know what ya mean. I loved the n sound for boys. Evan, Owen, Jackson, Ian, Devin and Ryan. Well unfortunately my last name has two syllables and end in and n. I didn't like the rhyme, so I just chose others. I quickly fell in love with new ones. If I were you I'd just choose one.

But Aimée isn't pronounced AY-mee!

It's properly pronounced eh-meh (the Anglo versions of this is e-MAY, which I say). Aimée pronounced AY-mee is just a kre8iv spelling of Amy. I dislike it because it's an old pet peeve of mine: it looks ignorant of the name's origin. For this reason, I much prefer Amy to Aimée if you're pronouncing the name AY-mee.

Aimée Renée itself is horribly rhymey to me in their proper (albeit somewhat Anglicised) pronunciations: e-MAY re-NAY? AY-mee re-NAY isn't so bad though.

Jamie I prefer on a boy, but I can tolerate it fine on a girl. Brianna's trendy and the N looks superfluous and tacky to me; Briana looks much more substantial and less "little girly" to me. Jamie Briana flows well to me.

Oh, and I apologise if I seem harsh, especially on the AY-mee versus e-MAY issue. It's just one of my biggest pet peeves regarding naming. As for the other things, I just told you how I honestly felt. :-)

what if you pronounced Aimee the proper way like ah-may of e-may i cant remember exactly. then again would continouisly mispronounced. still Aimee and Jamie are really too close in sound and spelling. someone said change ordering and one become mn - is an idea as you can still use them both. Someone else already said you never know - you might not have 2 daughters!

yes, I think it would be terrible, especially for twins! Sorry. If you are going to do it, just dont spell it Aimee & Jaimee.

I think rhyming sib names would be too confusing. If you absolutely love both names considering using one as a first name and the other as a mn.

Either way I wouldn't worry about it too much. You might end up with a partner who dislikes both names or have only boys.

I think that you could use them I don't think it would matter. If you like the names and have special reasons to use them then you should.

I wouldn't use the for siblings, as they rhyme too much. Jamie practically has the name Aimee within. It wouldn't be fair to the children. I would suggest using one of those names as a middle name for another child.
