Some of these "kre8iv" spellings are fine:
Josian - A male medieval name
Samanta - Italian form of Samantha
Valery - Spelled Valéry, this is a male French-from-Germanic name meaning "foreing power"
Emi - A Japanese name
Adan - Spelled Adán, this is the Spanish form of Adam
Maree - Hate this as a "variant" of Marie, but if spelled Marée it means "tide" in French
Christoffer - Scandinavian variant of Kristoffer, itself the Scandinavian version of Christopher. Don't know if Christoffer is considered even mildly kre8iv in Scandinavia though
Gowri - Indian nameThat said, the one name that stood out the most for sheer WTFery was this: Rages. O_O Poor kid! Maybe the mother had a lot of pain during the birth, but still... Runner up is Le Maree, which I read as meaning "the tide". *Sighs* Third place is Iysis, which I've actually seen before, unfortunately as the name of a baby murdered by her teenage father. And as for the names I actually like:
Josian
Samanta
Edgar
Rosa
Marlene - I like this in both all three of its pronunciations: mahr-LAY-na, mahr-LEE-na, and MAHR-leen
Valery - Prefer Valerie or Valérie for a girl, leaving Valéry for the boys
Martin
Anson - I think this could also work well to honour the mother if she's named Ann (or some variant thereof)
Tiffany
Belle
Joy
