Rachel or Rahel (original Hebrew spelling).

Rachel, please!Rachelle is just a Frenchified variant of Rachel. It seems overly complicated to me, so I don't like it very much.Rachael looks like a combo of Rachel and Michael to me, and therefore ought to be pronounced RAH-kel instead of RAY-chel.But I love Rachel, pure and simple. Rachel, pronounced ra-SHEL, is also the (original?) French form of the name.

Rachel. Rachael looks very sloppy, and Rachelle looks harsh to me.

I tend to pronounce Rachelle differently than the other two, although I know you're not supposed to. A friend of a friend changed the spelling of her name from Rachel to Rachelle to be unique, but to me it looks like a mis-spelling of Rochelle.
Out of Rachel and Rachael, I prefer Rachel. My best friend is called Rachael and although she likes her name, she hates the fact that everyone spells it wrong all the time. She also has a weird thing about calling herself Rachaie instead of Rachie, because the a is silent. But that's probably just because she's strange :P

I would not pronounce them the sameI would pronounce Rachel and Rachael the same. But Rachelle is French so I would pronounce it "rah-CHELL". If you don't plan on using the French pronounciation, I think Rachel is best. There is also the Spanish form Raquel (rah-KELL), which I really like best.
