Is that the way your friend actually spells her name, or is that the way it just sounded to you? The closest name I could find to that is "Azrael". Azrael is traditionally the Angel of Death.I also found a woman ("mystic and shaman") on the 'net who happens to call herself Azrael:http://www.aimcmc.com/azrael.htmlAnd, best of all, she's a massage therapist, too! I dunno, but somehow it just strikes me as perversely amusing that a massage therapist should have named herself after the Angel of Death. Whoa, don't let this chick walk on your bare back, is all I have to say. :)-- Nanaea

And let's not forget that Azrael was Gargamel's evil cat on the Smurf cartoon show.

ALL those Smurfs were evil! Lasciviously grinning little blue imps that spoke in a barely-decipherable code all their own while acquiring a smurf-load of personal wealth through merchandising deals and the children's toy market.Did anyone ever promote cute little Gargamel and Azrael plastic figures? I think not! Were either Gargamel or Azrael a relentless, sucking vacuum on the economic resources of parents everywhere? I think not!I ask you, who were the REAL villains, in Smurfdom, eh? Well, I for one, sure smurfin' know! :)-- Nanaea
I'm keepin' an eye on those Keebler Elves, too...

You've reawakened many disturbing memories, Nan. I used to awaken with cold sweats wondering just what the nature of the relationship was between those male blue hordes and Smurfette! And since there was a Papa Smurf but no mention of a Mama, where did those lads spring from? And why didn't the very woodland creatures rise up and smite them for the sole purpose of stopping that hellish la-la-lalalala...And am I the only one to notice how much Gargamel resembled Pat Buchanan in a dressing gown?Yes, there WERE Gargamel and Azrael figures, but for the most part they sold poorly and ended up remaindered at Big Lots. So at least our evil contingent didn't cause so much economic damage after all.Now if only I could quit finding New Kids On The Block shoelaces among our moved possessions...
