[Facts] Seta?

I am reading a book where the main charater is called Seta (female). I like the name for a future child but would like to know the meaning. It is Armenian according to the book. Please email me.
I thought of another variation also Sayta. IF this is a name I would like to know its meaning.Thanks.

I don't know if it's actually a name, but who cares? if you like it, then go ahead. Seta and Sayta aren't like way-far-out there names that someone randomly made up: Seta's apparently been used before, and I think it's cool.
Whatever floats your boat. Sorry, I don't know a meaning.

may be...Hi Christy,May be Seta is a short form of Setareh? That's a Persian name meaning star.Satu

I would guess it is a variation of Sita which I have also seen spelt Seeta. It's an Indian name. Rama and Sita are characters from a Hindu story.Rosey.
