I know a greek girl named Garyfallia (everyone calls her Litsa though, but I dont know why)............ anyway I tried checking when the nameday for Garyfallia is on this site, but I couldnt find it...Anyone have a clue?

There is actually a name day for Garifallia (on July 19)

Garifalia in Greek means "carnation plant" (garifalo = carnation). Litsa is indeed a nickname for Garifalia (from Garifalitsa => little Garifalia).

Garifalia has no religious nameday, as there was no St Garifalia.

Hi Rob,
I couldn't find the name day for Garyfallia, but I found out that Garifallia (i instead of y) is the common form of the name (which is Neo-Greek meaning pink, carnation). I hope that will help you??
