If it's pronounced like REE-gan and one has a love for Shakespeare then I can deal with it. Otherwise it's just a trendy surname name and it's unattractive imo. And spelled Reagan (RAY-gan) it's even worse.

I do like Regan for a girl, I have the - perhaps false - impression that it has a medieval air. It also sounds like Megan, so it is detined to be trendy.Reagan, on the other hand, is a boys name to me. The US president is not a nice association to me, so I don't really like it.

My pastor's son is named Reagan, so I really like it for a boy. I've heard a little girl called Reagan/Regan, and its okay, but I've gotten used to it on a little boy (he's an absolutely adorable 3 year old).

I love Regan :-)It's one of my consistent favourite girls' names. I admit I'm a little put off by the assocations though ... Why can't someone create a *nice* character Regan?! Shakespeare's was just horrible, and I haven't seen the Exorcist but I gather she wasn't great either ..._____________________________________________________________________"You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true."Elinor

Me tooI've always liked Regan/Reagan but I mentioned it to some friends and they were like "OMG-Haven't you seen the Exorcist?". I've never seen that movie. I think it's a nice name anyway.Leslie edd 4/17/05. Baby should be arriving via c-section April 8th, though.

I don't care for the name, but I only like it for a boy. It doesn't have a single feminine quality to it, I think, and it's not at all pretty - sorry. It's also surname-y, adding to its masculinity. Any other spellings, like Reagan, will not make it feminine, in my opinion. The name is masculine, I think, and very trendy for a girl.

It's one of the few surnamey or boyish names I love. Maybe because it reminds me of President Reagan. I also like Reagan and Regana.

Not a fan...(m)I didn't like Reagan, I have no love for the Exorcist, the Shakespearean character was NOT a nice girl, and the name simply sounds just like every other surnamey thing on the market today. It is fit for today--it'll sound modern and a little Regan shouldn't have problems with legions of Madisons mocking her name. However, that's not enough of a reason for me to give it, and I can't say that I'd ever give it the thumbs-up.Array

Ditto . . .It's hyper trendy. Maybe it'll even be the new Madison.
