Wdyt of this name? I am beginning to like it, only for a boy. Can you think of any negatives about it? The only drawback I can see would be the potential for the name to be shortened to Beck, or Becky.

It seems trendy to me, due to being a surname-name, and because it's a celeb's baby's name (a Dixie Chick has a son named Beckett Finn). It also makes me think of Quantum Leap because the lead character's name was Sam Beckett. :b

I like it, but I'm not sure I'd actually use it. However, I love Beckett Finn and of your combos Beckett Matthew gmv.

It's quite a harsh sounding name to me. It also reminds me of the word "hacket" which isn't very nice :-/

I think Beckett Michael is the best combo, because Michael is soft and tones Beckett down.

Well, I loved the movie, but I can't see this as a first name. (. . . unless you want your son to grow up to be Archbishop of Canterbury and get assassinated in a cathedral. . . .)

I'm not a fan of surnames as fns anyway.

OMG This name has been hovering in my lists for years. I LOVE this name. Only FOR BOYS. And personally, I like the nn Beck. I used to consider Brighton and Beckett my favorite sibset, nns Bright and Beck. Of course, Beckett and Calder would be more interesting... Beck and Call.

I like it, it's surnamey but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I don't care for the nn Becky at all but Beck is great.

I like Beckett Matthew the best. The others has too much of the k sound.
