Help[Opinions] Re: Alana/Alannah. How do you pronounce these two?

They're both ah-LAH-nah, as far as I'm concerned. I know an Alana who pronunces it ah-LAN-ah (with LAN as in the computer thing, heh), but I don't like that at all.
I'd find Alanna very nice, really, if I'd never read any Tamora Pierce books.
