[Opinions] Ellery (m)
A man just came into my work and his name is Ellery. I, of course, asked about his name and he said that it is a family name that has been passed on for generations for both men and women in his family. I found the name quite charming actually and the man it was attached to was very proud of his name. Just thought I'd share.~Michelle (Mo5)

Someone I know is having a baby and if it's a girl it is either going to be Olivia or Ellery, i've rooting for Ellery. Even though it's also a boy name, Olivia is too overuse now and Ellery could have the cute nn Elle or Ellie

Though I prefer the similar sounding Eleri more for girls and Ellery for boys it is nice enough for both

I like Ellery for a boy. It reminds me of Ellery Queen, which is a good thing.Unfortunately, parents of little girls have been poaching this name lately.

My brother had a Cabbage Patch Kid when he was a kid named...Ellery Matt. I don't think I'll ever forget that.I could see this name working for a girl, maybe with the nickname "Elle".

I really like Ellery, though I've only known one person with the name and that person was a woman. I've heard it for both sexes before, and I don't really have a preference I guess. It's very nice.

I don't care for it. It reminds me of the word celery. But, it is only masculine to me. Since it is a family name, I would've used it only as a middle name.
