Actually, Lauren, your name is more common than you think. Here in the U.S., Lauren was the #8 most popular name given to baby girls born last year.
And in the U.K., where I see you're posting from, Lauren was #6 on the National Health Register for last year.
While PriaposLovs' suggestion cracks me up :), if you really want an uncommon name, try anagramming Lauren. It turns into "Rulena", which can be interpreted to mean "I Rule". I think it kinda suits your sense of self-esteem. ;)
