[Opinions] Mairwen...
I love this name and I would use it as a mn to honor my grandmother Maria since it is a variation of Mair (Mary) and there are already too many Marias in my own family. Is it pronounced MIE-er-wen? This just seems so hard to say. Can it be pronounced MAYR-wen or is this totally wrong? I am loving Sabrina lately and the combo Sabrina Mairwen is one of my faves ;)

I like Sabrina Marie, Sabrina Manya, Sabrina Mary, and Sabrina Marianne. "Dance like no one's watching."

I don't care for it. I'd much prefer Maria, since it's your Grandmother's actual name, and since it'd be a middle name, it doesn't matter too much if there are many Marias in your family.Edit: Spelling.

I agree with Elinor, but I'd also like to add that the combo Sabrina Mairwen is very cute, imo. :)

Well you can pronounce it any way you like. The "correct" pron. (ie the Welsh one) is MYRE-win but if you really wanted to say MARE-win, it's what a lot of people are going to assume anyway :-)_____________________________________________________________________"My universe is laced around your wrist; I am the bracelet you sport."Elinor
