Our family is delighted to announce that we have adopted a handsome baby boy from Mexico. Our little prince was born six months ago on December 4th as Luis Alejandro. We decided to change his name to Nathaniel Luis, so we've kept a part of his birth name; Luis is also my grandfather's name, so we kept his first name over his middle name to honor him as well. We decided to adopt from Mexico because my grandparents immigrated to the United States from Mexico, so I'm well aware of the culture...not to mention the fact that the moment we laid eyes of Nathan, we knew he was meant to be our baby. The kids all adore him, especially William who is thrilled to finally have a little brother; he can't wait for him to get older so they can play together. Emma, Grace, and Ava love to hold him, and we can't get them to stop arguing over who's turn it is to hold him or feed him. Being the oldest of the girls, Josephine always insists that she get to hold him first because of course, "she's older than the triplets". And our baby girl Lillian is still getting used to the idea of having someone younger than herself around; at this point, she just likes to stand by and watch everyone...thank goodness she's gotten over the initial jealousy. Welcome to our family Nathaniel --- Daddy, Mommy, William, Josephine, Emma, Grace, Ava, & Lillian love you very much!
